Please place the EMPTY Republic Waste trash cart on the curb for pick up, if you have not done so already. Free drive-through COVID-19 testing, beginning tomorrow, Tuesday, March 31
United Memorial Medical Center will conduct FREE drive-through COVID-19 testing at Smart Financial Centre at Sugar Land, 18111 Lexington Blvd., beginning Tuesday, March 31st at 10 a.m. Free testing will continue at the site Mondays through Fridays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Anyone experiencing COVID-19 related symptoms such as temperatures exceeding 100, shortness of breath and dry/persistent coughs may be tested at the site. According to United Memorial, test results may take up to three days due to the current surge in lab testing; however, everyone will be called by the hospital whether they test positive or negative.
To accommodate efficient flow of traffic through the site, Oxbow at Lexington will be closed from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. during the testing operations. To access the test, motorists traveling southbound on U.S. Highway 59 should exit University Boulevard, take the turn-around under the freeway overpass to the northbound frontage road and turn right on Taborwood Avenue.

Annual Meeting – October 21, 2019

National Flood Insurance Program
Hurricane season is just around the corner and FEMA would like to encourage all homeowners and renters to purchase flood insurance. After the devastation of Harvey, it was discovered that almost 80% of the damaged properties did not have flood insurance. The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) goal is focused on increasing the number of properties covered by flood insurance. The National Flood Insurance Program aims to reduce the impact of flooding on private and public structures. It does so by providing affordable insurance to property owners, renters and businesses and by encouraging communities to adopt and enforce floodplain management regulations. NOTICE: The City of Katy is currently in the process of obtaining bids to repair certain areas of Town Park streets with concrete. If you have any questions regarding this City project, or others, including the new retention pond by Georgetown St., please call the streets department of City of Katy Utilities 281-391-4820.
2019 Assessments: Your annual assessment is due on or before the first day of January 2019, and is determined delinquent if not received by January 31, 2019. All past due accounts will be assessed interest at a rate of 18% per annum, along with a $10 per month collection fee after January 31, 2019 until paid in full. Please note it is possible to pay the annual assessment in monthly installments as long as the final payment is received on or before January 31, 2019.
